A real 25th Anniversary Countach gets smashed. It’ll hurt to watch at that scene.
It’s also a movie that will make you question why Leo still doesn’t have his damn Oscar.

Never rule out National Treasure.

I watched an episode on storms, I believe, and learned nothing about storms, and instead learned about how sensitive my asthma is to laughing.

Does Bill drive a Countach, throw midgets, or do copious amounts of blow? Didn’t think so. Watch Wolf .

Echoing everyone’s opinions, yes you should watch it, at the very least for the brilliant piece of cinema that is the Countach scene.

It is an alright movie. It’s got funny moments, great production value, and awesome soundtrack and good acting... however it often falls flat on the writing as being just an exposition of excess and gratuitousness. It definitely glorifies the penny stock and insider trading schemes that Jordan Belfort had done.
That being said..
If you like finance and learning how schemes are pulled off in the real world, it’s a pretty good movie for that. It’s in the same vein as Wall Street in that sense, but more realistic . I would also recommend Boiler Room, which is a fictional account heavily based on same source material.

Matthew McConaughey won it the same year he was a supporting actor in Wolf of Wall Street.
The Academy still considers Leonardo DiCaprio to be a pretty boy with little range, who is just there to fill seats and prop up films.
Likewise, Gary Oldman has never won an Oscar because he’s seen as a semi-B list actor because he appears in so many mid-level films and rarely as a leading man, despite being able to act circles around both Leo and Matt.
The Oscar’s measure a person’s ability to impress the academy, not be a good actor, and while there’s a relationship there, it’s not very strong.

It is absolutely fantastic. I am a big Martin Scorsese fan and I think Wolf, Casino and Aviator are my favourites that he did. No one does the rise and fall epics like Scorsese!
Great car line up in the movie!
Series 1 E-Type, Countach, Testarossa, Classic Range Rover, 74 Carrera 2.7, Mercedes SL,

It’s not a movie I would watch over ad over but it’s definitely worth watching once. Let’s just say I didn’t not like it.

I enjoy this much more than what should be legally permitted.

It’s pretty good, though not as good as you might think with Scorsese directing and DiCaprio acting. Rotten Tomatoes gives it a 77% critics, 82% viewers.
The best Wall Street shenanigans movie, I think, is still 1987’s Wall Street.

Nailed it. MM is terrible, most of his characters are the same. But look at Leo in Gilbert Grape, and then The Departed. How is that not range? And as for Gary Oldman, his characters are so damn good you can even tell it’s the same actor half the time.
